About Me

BurrOakOriginals: Jill of all trades, master of some. Some of this, some of that. Whatever intrigues and inspires me at any given moment. Honestly, I enjoy so many forms of self expression, even I don't always know what I'll be doing next. Writing in my journal, creating my next batch of papers, cutting gluing stamping, painting a picture, painting a room, or simply swaying to good music while relaxing here. Basically I'm a creative soul who attempts to convey my impressions... sights, sounds, feelings- moments and meaning- that I experience through out this journey. Whether it be the written word, the visual arts, or the slow and soothing crocheting my Grandma taught me, I have an innate need to always be creating. Above and beyond that, I'm Mom to two (nearly) grown sons, Shane and Seth (the loves of my life), and a life's partner to a sweet, loving, handsome man, Todd (my one true soul mate). Added in the mix is a menagerie of cats and dogs (not to mention the possum and coon who frequent each night). Mostly, I'm a thinker. A life-long contemplator. Sure, sometimes that's not always the best thing, but on the grandest of occassions, there's insight and revelation, and the tiniest pretty thing.
